Fill It and Grill It Rotisserie Basket (Standard 5/16)
Price: $69.95

Fill It & Grill It is a stainless steel rotisserie cooking basket for your grill or smoker.  In my case, I'm using it on a Kamado Joe Classic with the JoeTisserie.  The basket measures 7" diameter x 16” long.  It fits 5 different types/sizes of spit rods so you will need to specify when you purchase it what size you need.  If you are using the JoeTisserie, you will need the 5/16" square type.

The basket ships in 4 pieces and includes some instructions on how to assemble and re-align with the side pieces if needed.  It is pretty easy to assemble and mine was perfectly aligned out of the box.  It can be used as a basket, or with 12 skewers (not included).  You can see in one of the pictures below where they attach.

First time using the basket I made chicken wings.  I had around 30 wings in it and it was less than half full.  Threw the wings in the basket, turned it on, and walked away.  Pretty simple.  350-400 degrees for about 45 minutes and they were done.

A lot of reviews mentioned how easy it is to be cleaned.  The first time I used it, I did not find this to be the case.  However, I let it sit for a while after I finished using it because I wanted to eat :) .  By then, the debris left on it was pretty well dried and really hard to get off.  I tried soaking it overnight, then scrubbing and putting in the dishwasher.  I was able to get most of it off, but it still needed some work.

The next time I used it, I sprayed it with PAM cooking spray first.  After I was done cooking, I put it right into a bucket of water and let it soak while we had dinner.  Cleaning was MUCH easier.  Most of it came right off with a grill brush, I had to use a little dish scrubber to get some of the spots that were hard to get to with a grill brush.  Threw it in the dishwasher afterwards which really wasn't needed but what the heck.

You can also use this with skewers instead of the basket.  There are 12 holes on the side pieces that you can use to hold skewers.
