Pork Tenderloin - Recipe
Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 1.5 hours
Smoker Temp: 325 degrees F
Meat Finish Temp: 145 degrees F
What You'll Need
- Pork Tenderloin
- Famous Dave's Rib Rub
Cooking Instruction
- Rinse off tenderloin under sink with cold water and pat dry
- Some soak their tenderloin overnight, I did not for this cook and it still tasted good, wasn't dried out. Next loin I do, I'll soak in something fancy and report results.
- Set loin on cookie sheet and coat with Famous Dave's Rib Rub on the top of the loin and flip to coat the bottom.
- Bring smoker to 325 degrees
- I cooked this on a Pit Boss K22, kamado style grill, without a heat deflector. I wish I would've cooked with a heat deflector, as the bottom on the tail was burnt. So if your into that thing, there you go. But cooking with a deflector is not a necessity.
- After temperature steady at 325, cook for hour and half.
- Once internal meat temp is 145 F, it is ready to be taken off.
- Let stand for 10-15 minutes, slice and serve HOT!
