After searching and debating on what cover to get for my Pit Boss K22, I stumbled upon the Unicook Cover. It claimed a universal fit, so I got the tape measure out and measured my grill at 30" wide, 36" tall. The dimesions listed for the product indicated this would be a fit, and at $18, I gave it a chance. And I'm glad I did.
Pros:
- It is waterproof. You can see in the picture above the beads of water running off the cover. Also look at the picture below and you will see a dry grill in rainy conditions.
- Fit is great. Depending on your smoker, the fit will be great. Mine measured at 30" in diameter and this one fits perfect. It's not too snug to where I feel like I'm going to rip it taking it on and off and it slides right on and right off.
- Drawstring at the bottom. Tighten it up to give your grill that good fit and protect everything.
- Handles at the top. Not that these are really needed, but it makes it all the more evident where the top of the cover is, and it makes it easier to take on and off.
- $18 investment to protect a $800 grill. Sure beats spending $75 on a cover.
Cons: None to report at the moment, I wonder how long water will continue to bead on the cover, but that's a topic for another day. Any issues with this cover and I will report.
Will continue to update on the longevity of this cover, but at the moment I feel like this will get me through the winter and next summer with some care.
